Coloma Grocery didn't start as a business plan. It started as a simple idea — that every neighborhood deserves a store that actually knows its people. When the doors first opened on McGregor Drive, Rancho Cordova didn't have much in the way of a convenient, friendly place to grab what you needed without driving across town.

So we filled that gap. One shelf at a time, one customer at a time. From the beginning, the goal was never to compete with the big chains. It was to be the place you stop on the way home. The place that has what you need when you need it. The place where the person behind the counter recognizes your face.

Over the years the community has grown around us and we've grown with it — more products, longer hours, an ATM, and even a taco truck in the parking lot because good food and good neighbors just go together. Today Coloma Grocery is still the same store it always was at heart. A family-owned neighborhood shop that shows up every single day, seven days a week, for the people of Rancho Cordova. We're not a chain. We're your corner store. And we're not going anywhere.
